As Roger F. & The Structure, Roger Fähndrich writes and performs songs about individualism, the relational impact of budgetary issues within artists’ collectives, white men with guitars, the apocalyptic atmosphere and capitalism in general. What was paradoxical yesterday is still a reality today.
The Structure is a fluid duo-and-possibly-band-entity composed of different formations. Most recently, it includes the collaboration with violinist and multi-instrumentalist Blanca Prieto. Other active or passive members of The Structure are Andrej Marffy, Tobias Sommer and Mashiro Tamura.
Three albums have been released since 2016. The latest, "The Eye Opened" is a collaboration with ambient and field-recording artist DIAN and was released on Troglodisques.
